AI Content Policy

Starlet creates AI-generated portraits from user-provided photos. Results are AI-generated and may differ from real appearance. Users should disclose AI generation when publishing, presenting, or distributing generated content in contexts where audiences could reasonably interpret it as an authentic photograph or documentary record.

Do not use Starlet to impersonate real people. Do not create or distribute deceptive representations of people who did not authorize the use of their likeness. Deepfakes are prohibited. Users must also avoid using Starlet to facilitate fraud, harassment, extortion, identity deception, targeted abuse, or other unlawful conduct.

Use only source photographs and creative materials for which you have appropriate rights or permission. A paid commercial license does not grant rights in a third party's likeness, trademark, copyrighted source material, or private location. If a project involves another identifiable person, obtain appropriate consent and comply with applicable publicity, privacy, and data-protection rules.

Starlet recommends maintaining a simple disclosure such as “AI-generated” near published work when appropriate. The disclosure should not claim that generated content is an untouched photograph or documentary image. Users are responsible for context, labeling, and review before publication.

The service may apply moderation, account restrictions, or removal procedures when content appears to violate this policy or applicable law. Reports should include enough information to identify the content and explain the concern. This static site does not provide a moderation backend; production operators should document escalation, review, appeals, and retention procedures.

This policy complements the Terms of Service and may be updated as product capabilities and legal requirements evolve. If a conflict exists, mandatory law controls. Before launch, the operator should validate the policy against the actual generation model, retention system, safety controls, and jurisdictional requirements.

Production operators should also document how they handle reports involving minors, non-consensual imagery, public figures, and requests to remove generated content. The safest workflow is to preserve only the minimum information needed for review, restrict access to authorized personnel, and provide a clear route for urgent safety reports.
